Union Berlin and Bayer Leverkusen have expressed their sympathy to the household of former Coach Sascha Lewandowski, who has died at the age of forty four.
Having been promoted from a role with the club's early life staff, Lewandowski coached Leverkusen's senior facet jointly with Sami Hyypia from April 2012 to may just 2013 and served as meantime head train when the former Liverpool defender left the membership in April 2014.
He took over at Union Berlin in September last 12 months but stepped down in March on the recommendation of medical professionals after being identified with acute fatigue syndrome, a severe form of burnout that resulted in heart issues.
"it's hard to imagine for us that Sascha is useless," Leverkusen wearing director Rudi Voller mentioned in a assertion.
"He was a excellent man who introduced all his force and passion in his work... Sascha did a terrific job. Our deepest sympathy goes to his [family].
