​Tottenham Hotspur have ​confirmed  the signing of Kenyan international midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton for a price believed to be within the neighborhood of £11m.

He is the primary new arrival of the summer season following a title mission in 2015/16 and has signed a 5-yr contract with a view to preserve him at Spurs till 2021.
The move to White Hart Lane sees the Wanyama reunite with Mauricio Pochettino. The pair worked collectively for a season at Southampton in 2013/14, with the Argentine the one liable for taking him to the south coast club from Celtic.

Wanyama, who stays the one Kenyan to have performed in the ideal League, will add so much wanted midfield steel to the Spurs squad ahead a brand new season to be able to see the club return to the Champions League after a 5-year absence.
