Chelsea defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic has reportedly held talks with incoming boss, Antonio Conte telling the Italian his want to become a member of former boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, The Sun reports.
The 27yrs-old had an underwhelming season in comparison with his tremendous contributions in Chelsea's title win in 2014 after Mourinho brought the Serbia global back to Stamford Bridge following a spell with Portuguese giants Benfica.
But despite the under par performances, which incorporated a dire displaying towards Southampton when Mourinho subbed Matic after bringing him on 27 minutes earlier, the Serb looks keen on a reunion.
Stories have advised the new United boss is just as eager in bringing his former player to historic Trafford so that you can carry metal back to a midfield missing in that department.
It's unclear whether Conte would permit a participant of Matic's calibre to leave, with his performances in Chelsea's title win still outstanding, however what is apparent, if studies are to be believed, is that Conte will not be interesting any offers for winger Willian.
