​Everton have announced the signing of goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg from Fulham on a three-years deal, bringing the 33-year-old to Goodison Park to work below Ronald Koeman for the 3rd time in his profession.

The Dutch international made best a handful of appearances for Fulham in his three years with the club, ending up out on loan to Monaco and Southampton at quite a lot of facets because the golf equipment seemed for reliable goalkeeping depth.

Koeman, who has made Stekelenburg his first signing when you consider that arriving on Merseyside final month, introduced: “undoubtedly i do know Maarten good having labored with him at two clubs before.“i do know via his professionalism, hardworking strategy and personality he'll fit in good with what I will be constructing at Everton.”
The experienced stopper has sacks of international pedigree at the back of him too, making 54 appearances for the Dutch national facet and playing within the 2010 World Cup final towards the positive Spaniards.
